Wirklich gut für Burger

Der Käse ist wirklich gut. Ich habe mit den Scheiben Burger gemacht & der Käse schmilzt gut & schmeckt wirklich wirklich lecker.

Wer mag es dezent?

Als Deutscher ist es schwer, das Typische am Cheddar zu charakterisieren. Ich würde sagen, er ist ENGLISCH. In England stellt Cheddar den Allerweltskäse dar, den wir hier höchstens in Form von Gouda oder anderem sehr geläufigen Käse vergleichen können. Keinesfalls aber mit dem Cheddar, der in Deutschland zu haben ist. Und ich muss es wissen, bin ich doch absoluter Cheddar-Fan und weiß, dass man ihn in England in bestimmt 20 mehr oder weniger herzhaften Geschmacksrichtungen im Supermarkt kaufen kann. Das ist eine Fundgrube für Leckermäulchen wie mich. Insofern hat es mich interessiert, wie sich der BEDDA SCHEDDA einornen läßt. Also die Konsistenz und Färbung ist perfekt gelungen, geruchsmäßig kaum auffallend und im Geschmack sehr mild. Ja, man kann ihn als Cheddar durchgehen lassen, wenn auch nur als sehr milden Cheddar. Na gut, es heißt SCHEDDA und hat daher auch eine Berechtigung, etwas aus der Norm auszuscheren. Wer also eher auf würzigen, herzhaften Geschmack steht, ist hier fehl am Platze, aber ich denke mir, dass sich der BEDDA SCHEDDA sehr gut mit einer etwas würzigeren Frucht verträgt, die man mit auf`s Brot tun kann, z.B. Radieschenscheiben oder ein paar Blätter Rucola. Ich gebe 9 Punkte, weil ich mir einen etwas kräftigeren Geschmack gewünscht hätte, aber jemand anderes wird mit diesem milden Käse bestimmt vollkommen zufrieden sein können.

Nichts sagend

Die Konsistenz der Scheiben ist originalgetreu und sie haben auch nicht den merkwürdigen Geschmack, den Veganer Käse leider oft inne hat. Jedoch schmecken die Scheiben so wenig intensiv, dass man sie auch einfach weg lassen könnte. Ich werde sie nicht wieder kaufen.
