200 g Tofu
2 pc burger buns
Some oil for frying
4 Leave(s) green Salad (iceberg, head, or romaine lettuce)
1 pc red onion, small
2 pc gherkins

1. Cut the Tofu into 4 pieces (first cut it in half in the middle and then halve it lengthwise). Heat oil in a pan and sauté the Tofu for about 5 minutes on all sides. Remove and place on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
2. Toast the burger buns briefly or lightly brown them in the oven. Slice red onions into rings. Fill the burger bun halves with Tofu, lettuce, onion rings, and pickles. Add ketchup and/or other sauces according to your preference.
