But the risk of confusion remains: Its 3.5% fat content gives it luxurious creaminess and an uncompromisingly delicious taste. But if less is more for you, This is Not Milk also comes in semi-skimmed version.

Nowadays, Alpro’s milk alternatives are a permanent fixture of all well-stocked refrigerated sections. From soya alternatives to yoghurt and Skyr and puddings and desserts right through to oat drinks and whipping cream, Alpro serves us a wide range of high-quality vegan alternatives to standard dairy products. With this, Alpro makes us an offer we (hopefully) can’t refuse, not just for dedicated vegans but everyone else too: truly delicious products that leave nothing to be desired – all the while being good for us and the environment.

Quality ingredients, good food

Alpro uses oat exclusively from Europe and almonds from the Mediterranean region, watered primarily with rainwater. The soya used was grown GM-free and away from rainforest areas. The majority comes from Europe, with more than half from France, Italy and Germany. The rest comes via sea from Canada.

From good to better

In addition to its high-quality ingredients, Alpro also strives to steadily improve the manufacturing and packaging of its products. From 2010 to 2021, its production sites reduced their environmental footprint by 34% CO2 and 29% water by implementing power-to-heat technologies. And that was just one step towards its objective. The company intends to generate/consume 0% CO2, water and waste by as early as 2025. Fingers crossed for their green ambitions!
