Hearty Fried Potatoes with Smoked Seitan

Ingredients

400 g waxy potatoes
1 pc onion, diced
Some salt, pepper, nutmeg
Some parsley, fresh

Preparation

1. Finely chop the onion, peel and slice the potatoes into slightly thicker rounds, and dice the seitan. The finer the seitan is diced, the crispier it will be later. Heat some oil in a pan, briefly sauté the onions in it, and then add the potatoes.
2. Once the potatoes start getting slightly crispy, add the seitan and briefly sauté everything together until it's crispy. Season everything with salt, pepper, and parsley, and serve it with fresh seasonal vegetables and an extra portion of seitan, for example.
