Vegan Puff Pastry Nougat Rolls

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat, recommended) or 200°C (convection). Break the vegan alternative to hazelnut chocolate into pieces and blend it together with hazelnuts and maple syrup in a blender.
2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into approximately 10 x 10 cm pieces. Lightly brush both sides of each piece with plant-based margarine and roll them out a bit thinner. Carefully spread each piece with the filling and roll up the dough. Then, shape them into spirals.
3. Place the spirals on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
