Favorite dishes from India to China, from Thailand to Japan

When Sasha Gill went vegan, she didn't want to miss out on the special flavours of her home country's dishes and set about "veganizing" them. The result is a genuine collection of favorite Asian dishes with a vegan twist.

As a student, Sasha knows what it means to have little time and little money; most of her recipes therefore require little time and no expensive ingredients. Through constant experimentation, she has begun to create dishes that are just as delicious and satisfying as her beloved family recipes and street food favorites, only she uses plants instead of meat and fish.

Sasha is always inspired by the flavors of Asia. This results in flavorful dishes such as Jackfruit Biryani, Cauliflower Samosas, Fluffy Peanut Pancakes, Creamy Spinach Curry with Crispy Tofu, Shiitake Ramen, Vegan 'Butter Chicken', Sweet Potato and Onion Pakoras, Tofu Pad Thai and Peking Jackfruit Pancakes.
