Wholemeal wheat flour and ripe bananas that haven’t made the cut for the supermarket provide a sustainable and nutritious basis to set you up for the day. Vegan, organic, each loaf contains 30% bananas.

The first vegan organic banana bread available in German supermarkets! This sees Glowkitchen cater to a significant gap facing banana bread fans who don’t want to bake it themselves or sit in a café. With this arrival of this product, banana bread has long been more than an insider tip. Cram-packed with nutrients, fluffy, sweet and delicious, perfect for an energy boost at uni, during sport or brunch with friends.
Experimentation and studies side by side
The founders of Glowkitchen got to know each other while working together in a café in Münster. They were all astonished by the perennial favourite among the guests: banana bread. The demand was so overwhelming that the four decided to market the homemade banana bread in the supermarket as well. Three years and two ecotrophology degrees later, the time had come: the first organic-quality vegan banana bread made it onto the supermarket shelves. And it certainly won’t be the last.

In addition to the wonderful existing varieties Wild Berry, Chunky Walnut, Chunky Choc and the two Minis Natur and Choc Chip, further products are planned for the future. We can’t wait!
