The vegan Vantastic medallions are made from defatted soy flour and are easy to prepare. It's best to simply soak the desired amount of soy medallions in hot vegetable broth for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once they have reached the desired consistency, you can strain them and carefully squeeze them with your hands. Afterwards, they can be processed like meat.
You have a free hand when it comes to flavoring: marinate or season the soy meat pieces before frying them and give them exactly the flavor you want. You can also bread them using a vegan egg alternative and make them into little vegan cutlets.
