In keeping with the German's favourite season, Violife comes around the corner with its Mediterranean Style Block for barbecuing and of course we have included it in our range. If you're not a barbecue type, or don't have a garden or balcony, you may also fry it in your pan.

The Violife Mediterranean Style Block doesn't call you "grill me" for nothing and sounds as irresistible as its appearance suggests. Speaking of the exterior: why exactly Violife has provided the two blocks with a resealable packaging, we can't answer exactly either, because up to now there has never been anything left over after the first opening that would have had to be resealed. And rightly so!

Mein Favorit

Ich war sowas von positiv überrascht. Der Grill me schmeckt echt herzhaft käsig und hat für meinen Geschmack eine super Konsistenz. Mann sollte ihn nicht immer zu umdrehen wollen auf dem Grill, dann bleibt zuviel am Grillrost hängen.Einfach die erste seine bis sie gebräunt ist, dann umdrehen und fertig grillen. Ich kauf den "Käse" auf jeden Fall wieder

Überraschend gut

Viel käsiger als erwartet und von der Konsistenz auch echt gut! Ich werde ihn fürs nächste Grillen wieder besorgen, meine vegetarischen Freunde waren auch beeindruckt!

Es riecht einfach jede Sorte: SAUER.

Die Mozzarella Scheiben riechen sauer, der Mediterranean Style Käseblock riecht sauer. Ich erkenne keinen Unterschied zwischen den Sorten und mag den garnicht. Schade.

Wirklich lecker

Wir sind keine Fans von diesen Produkten auf Kokosbasis. Aber dieser Käse ist wirklich sehr lecker. Vor allem weil er innen so achön cremig ist. Ganz andere wie Haloumi und Co. aber trotzdem total gut.

Like Halloumi but sticky and coconutty

We grill this cheese as a Halloumi alternative. It has quite a strong after taste of coconut and when warmed up gets very sticky on the teeth. I keep buying it as I am very nostalgic of the real thing but every time I kinda regret it when I can barely open my moth full of a sticky mass :D otherwise with some bbq sauce on top, it tastes ok.

Perfekt Saganaki!

Ich bin Griechin und seit 2 Jahre vegan. Feta war der Grund warum alle diese Jahre nicht vegan geworden bin. Mit Feta von Violife ich bin geretet,aber das hier.... Das ist besser als ich erwartet!Du kannst in 5 Minuten Saganaki mit Sesam und Agavendicksaft machen! Und das dass die andere GEschmack hat von "Feta" ist weil original für ein Saganaki braucht bischen harter Feta...Dieses Produck ist ein absolut Emfelung!

Totaler Reinfall!

Hat überhaupt nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Komischer Geruch beim braten, keine Ahnung was daran mediterran sein soll, denn Gewürze oder Kräuter sucht man bei diesem "Käse" vergeblich. Geschmacklich leider ein absoluter Reinfall, schade! aber einen Versuch war es Wert
