From bakery to health food company

In 1928, the company was entered in the commercial register by members of the philanthropic society in Paris. At the same time, demeter, one of the oldest organic farming methods, was being tested in agricultural practice in Germany. The anthroposophical and reform movements develop in parallel over a period of decades and also shape the product range of the Pural brand.

100 years of organic pioneers

In the 1980s, Pur Aliment is shortened to Pural and established as a brand. Among other things, Pural offers meat alternatives made from soy and plant-based pâté for the first time in the organic sector - a real pioneering achievement. After almost 100 years of company history, the range has grown to over 300 products in organic and demeter quality, ranging from delicious rye, spelt or wholemeal bread to rusks and corn potato chips to vegan double cookie rolls.
