Because Vantastic vegan steaks are a dry product, they have a fairly long shelf life, even unrefrigerated. This makes them ideal provisions for longer camping trips or festival visits and a must-have for your vegan pantry.
Vantastic vegan steaks are made with textured, defatted soy flour. To prepare them, you simply simmer them in a vegetable broth for about 10 to 15 minutes until they reach the desired consistency. Afterwards, simply strain them and squeeze them with your hands - and they can be processed like small steaks made of meat. You can season, marinate or bread them as you like and according to your individual taste.
