When Manilife arrived on supermarket shelves in 2020, the brand start-up set new standards – in every respect: made from 99% peanuts and just a pinch of sea salt. No palm oil, no added sugar. 100% natural, 100 % vegan, yet creamy and sweet enough to melt even the most obsessive peanut butter fans.

Hardly surprising given that Manilife sources its peanuts from one single traditional peanut farm in Argentina. This farm dates back roughly 3,500 years. To this day this site still offers optimum growing conditions for peanuts. So optimum, in fact, that these peanuts were awarded a certificate of origin in 2012. In other words, Manilife peanuts are the Champagne of peanuts.

Handcrafted and deep-roasted

The method of production is another factor that helps Manilife stand out from its mass-produced competition. The hand-sorted peanuts are roasted until russet or light brown using a special roasting technique. This all comes down to the desired flavour notes, i.e. more intense, sweeter, or caramel-flavoured. Ultimately, it’s this special small-batch processing that makes the different types of Manilife peanut butter so unrivalled in their creamy consistency. Deep Roast or Original Roast? We recommend trying all the flavours until you’ve found your favourite roast. And for an ultra-special peanut experience we recommend the Rich Cocoa version. Prepare to be surprised and impressed!
